Australia Post joins the Superannuation front

For the many of you that handle payroll, you can now streamline client superannuation obligations through Australia Post.

Small business employers can now provide a single payment by cheque or cash to Australia Post and have it distributed to employees’ superannuation funds.

Available in more than 3,200 post offices across the country, the new Australia Post service will make it easier for small businesses to make employee superannuation contributions (both default and choice) at no additional cost.

With a single payment Australia Post will be able to simplify superannuation payments and ensure each employee gets their individual contributions.

It is a practical, simple way for a small business to reduce their administration without any additional cost.
