The Buzz
All registered BAS agent and tax agent practices now have access to Online Services for Agents (OSFA) and you now no longer need to use the link the ATO provided in its public beta email invitation to access the new system. You will now be re-directed from the old portal login page (basp.ato.gov.au) to the new login page. On the new login page, you will have the option to login to either OFSA, or the BAS Agent Portal.
By way of background, OSFA is the new secure system to access services you currently use in the Tax and BAS Agent Portals. It has been co-designed with tax and BAS agents to improve your experience. It will eventually replace the portals. The new platform should be the default service later in 2019. The ATO encourages all practitioners to try the new system and continue to provide the ATO with feedback during the public beta testing as it will assist in refining the new system.
Further on this topic, join us on Bookkeeper Radio (Thursday 28 March at 5pm AEDST) where we will talk all things OFSA with ATO Assistant Commissioner, Mr Colin Walker, including:
This is your new system, so join us live on 28 March where you can also fire us off any OFSA questions that you may have.
See you then!
