The Australian Bookkeepers Network (ABN) is proud to announce Dr. Alan D. Thompson as keynote speaker for The Bookkeeper Event 2024, to be held at Adelaide's prestigious Hilton Hotel from October 10th to 12th.
Dr. Thompson is recognised internationally for his pioneering work in artificial intelligence (AI) and human intelligence augmentation. With a distinguished career spanning academia, consultancy, and media, Dr. Thompson brings a wealth of expertise to The Bookkeeper Event, themed "Doing it Better."
As a former chairman of Mensa International’s gifted families and a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies, major governments, and intergovernmental entities, Dr. Thompson has been at the forefront of shaping AI's evolution. His groundbreaking contributions include the creation of the Models Table, the most comprehensive analysis of datasets used for OpenAI GPT (featured in the US Government’s economic research report on AI), and the launch of two world-first documents: The Declaration on AI Consciousness and the Bill of Rights for AI.
"Dr. Thompson's insights into the integration of AI with human intelligence are invaluable in today's complex regulatory environment," said Kellie Powell, Director of the ABN. "His keynote address will provide attendees with a unique perspective on how embracing technology and AI can lead to greater efficiency and effectiveness in bookkeeping practices."
"We are thrilled to have Dr. Thompson join us at The Bookkeeper Event 2024," said Kellie. "His insights will undoubtedly inspire attendees to explore new possibilities and strategies for 'Doing it Better' in their bookkeeping."
