ABN announces 2024 conference details in what is set to be a new standard for the bookkeeping community.
The collegial spirit of the bookkeeping community will again be on show in 2024 as hundreds congregate in Adelaide in October for the The Bookkeeper Event, a conference for Bookkeepers hosted by Australian Bookkeepers Network (ABN).
As a profession whose contribution is being increasingly recognised as critical to the Australian economy, the ABN’s Director, Kellie Powell, says this conference showcases that pride.
“The Bookkeeper Event for 2024 will look at how bookkeepers are "Doing it Better" today in an increasingly complex regulatory environment and how we can keep "Doing it Better" into the future. The agenda will focus on, Doing it Better with Technology, Doing it Better with AI and how Doing it Better leads to Evolution” said Kellie.
“We are a professional community in the spotlight,” said Kellie. “We’ve been held to account by tougher standards and we’ve risen to the occasion. Our BAS Agents have adapted to new technology and regulations. We continue to learn and innovate.”
“There is a shared spirit that comes with facing these tough challenges that ignite a real energy in the room at our national conference,” continued Kellie. “Our members are excited to get together, share those challenges, and learn more.”
“We’re doing it better and will continue to with the support of each other, which is what this conference is about,” said Kellie.
